Mixed Use Regeneration Scheme at Castle Street, Belfast
Carlin is currently working on a major mixed use development in the Castle Street area of Belfast City Centre. This is an area in need of regeneration and the proposed scheme will act as a catalyst for further investment, provide high quality homes and workspace, and provide footfall for local businesses.
In January 2021, the Department for Communities (DfC) Minister Deirdre Hargey announced that CSI1818 Limited have successfully bid and been appointed to redevelop the derelict site at Castle Street in the city centre.
Subject to planning and other statutory approvals, the redevelopment of this site will see a significant investment in Castle Street, which will result in a mixed used development, incorporating retail space and residential accommodation.
This is an excellent vision to turn vacant and under-utilised land into quality city centre housing with active space on the ground floor.
Carlin will now work towards the planning submission later in 2023.
