Planning, Project Management, Stakeholder Engagement
Carlin has successfully submitted several planning applications for rural dwellings across Northern Ireland.
These include replacement dwellings, infill dwellings, farm dwellings and new dwellings in existing clusters.
Key considerations when progressing these projects include:
- Establishing the principle of residential development through a detailed policy analysis
- Impacts on the rural character, and
- Appearance of the area, access and transport impacts.
Given the nature of these sensitive locations many of these sites are subject to additional planning and environmental constraints such as Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and historic and natural and environment constraints.
Subject to planning approval, these rural dwellings will further contribute to sustainable development in the Northern Ireland countryside.
