At the last planning meeting, Carlin Planning were delighted to receive planning approval for Belfast City centre’s first ever major multi-use health facility.
Carlin Planning engaged with Belfast City council throughout the pre-application discussions and planning application phases, leading on the project from inception to planning approval.
Located on Great Victoria Street, this innovative project, known as ‘Healthworks’, is set to transform healthcare access in the inner-city area. The state-of-the-art facility will provide a range of essential services, including GP practices, specialist care, pharmacies and occupational health services, all under one roof.
This development is not just a win for the healthcare sector but also for Belfast’s growing urban population and will provide essential community infrastructure in order for the city’s population to grow further and reach its ambitious population objectives. The site’s strategic location on will fill a critical gap in accessible medical services for inner-city residents, students and businesses alike.
