Kieran Carlin BSc (Hons) PGdip LLM MRTPI
Biography
Kieran is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute with over 15 years’ experience in leading complex projects with public and private sector clients. He is a results-driven planner and PRINCE2 (Project Management) Practitioner.
Prior to establishing the business in 2019, Kieran worked with two global multi-disciplinary consultancies. His knowledge and experience is recognised by universities and government departments, including the N.Ireland Department for Communities to whom he is Strategic Planning Advisor, and he has advised on the regeneration of key development sites throughout Ireland and the UK.
Kieran is passionate about town planning and is currently undertaking a PhD with Ulster University titled ‘Urban universities as catalysts for public-private regeneration strategies to benefit more liveable and healthy inner-city communities’ which examines the role and influence of large-scale academic and civic-led urban regeneration projects on wider socio-economic and environmental qualities associated with liveable, healthy, and sustainable inner-city communities.
Kieran’s expertise ranges from planning applications, environmental statement, public consultations, masterplans and development frameworks, to site selection studies and feasibility reports.
