Mixed Use Development at Railway Avenue, Newry
Carlin successfully received outline planning permission for this £5m mixed use retail and residential development in Newry City Centre which will regenerate a long-term vacant site, creating active frontages and 43 modern and stylish apartments above, and car parking.
The scheme is being viewed as a welcomed boost for Newry City Centre and will increase the city centre population and increase footfall for local businesses.
Carlin undertook an effective pre-application process with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and statutory consultees. As a result, a strong and robust case was made in support of the proposals by Carlin and a positive planning outcome granted.
Credit to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council for their positive and timely decision making, and Rapport Architects for their excellent concept.
