Bushmills Health and Wellness Resort, County Antrim
The £57m project seeks to build on and transform the north coast’s tourism potential. More top-quality tourism accommodation is needed to turn day trippers into overnight stays – this will benefit our existing retail, leisure and tourism operators.
The resort amenities will include a new 150-bedroom hotel and ‘eco lodges’ centre with luxury spa, pool and restaurant. This 5* offering will sit nestled within a network of indoor and outdoor spaces, designed with health and wellness at its core. This resort will also appeal to visitors that want to explore all the north coast has to offer.
A pre-application notification (PAN) was submitted to Causeway Coast and Glens Council in March 2022.
Community consultations in March and April 2022, ahead of the submission of full application, provided an opportunity for the public to see the site and hear about the plans and sought early views from key stakeholders, including local communities and businesses, which will influence the design process.
