Project Brief
The proposals for Shamrock Park include replacing the existing 800-seat spectator stand with a new 1,046-seat facility, increasing the total seating capacity to 3,814. The development also features a state-of-the-art training facility within a dome structure, which will be accessible to the local community. The redeveloped Shamrock Park also includes a new 3G playing surface and the incorporation of business and community spaces within the new spectator stand.
Services Provided
We provided comprehensive planning services to Portadown Football Club, focusing on redeveloping the existing stadium to better serve community needs. This project aimed to increase capacity while addressing current health and safety concerns related to the existing pitch. An extensive public consultation process was undertaken, garnering positive feedback and strong support from the local community and supporters of Portadown Football Club.
