Redevelopment of Shamrock Park, Portadown

Carlin Planning are leading on an exciting development project for Portadown Football Club relating to the redevelopment of their Shamrock Park home in Portadown. The plans seeks to transform the landmark park into a community stadium comprising a new 3G pitch and state of the art training facility.

The project centres around the replacement of the old Main Stand, which has sat derelict and disused for over a decade and hosts a range of health and safety issues. It is envisaged that the new stand and training facilities will be open for community use through the week, utilising and make the most effective use of brownfield land within the settlement.

Carlin Planning are currently leading on Pre-application Discussions (PAD) with Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council and are engaging with the local community and stakeholders through the Pre-application Community Consultation (PACC) phases of the project.
